At the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, there is a full-size model of a blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) suspended from the ceiling. It is among the most popular exhibit at the entire musuem. Advices/Expectations For Your Visit
- Please arrive early in order to visit as many exhibits.
- During inclement weather, you should enter on LL floor, which is the same level as the Uptown B C subway platform.
- Refreshments at the Museum are overly expensive, but you are not allowed to bring outside food.
- General Admission gives you access to most parts of AMNH. If you wish to save money, you may pay what you want.
